Power of Unicode
Unicode Transformation Format (UTF-8) is used to represent character values in 1 to 4
bytes. This is a better performance encoding than using straight Unicode since most characters
will be ASCII characters and therefore require only 1 byte. If you want to take your mind off
an upcoming and dreaded visit to your dentist, you can read more details about UTF-8 at
www.unicode.org. Doing so will surely cure even the worst case of dental phobia.
